The submitted app, Pocket Travel Assistant (PTA), all-in-one solution for travelers, providing comprehensive information about any major city or town worldwide, integrates data from platforms such as Google Maps, Yahoo, Flickr, Wikipedia, BBC, Reuters, Twitter, YouTube, and more, offering a seamless experience for global travelers. PTA was recognized with the "Outstanding Regional Achievement Award" at the 2010 World Summit Award Mobile, a prestigious event organized by the International Center for New Media (ICNM) in collaboration with the United Nations. The WSA-mobile highlights the best mobile content and innovative applications across 160 countries, with Abu Dhabi hosting the awards ceremony.
